How to Make an AI Zombie Cat or Pet Video (No CapCut)
Make a sad or tender AI zombie video of your cat or dog from two photos in the browser. Zombie AI does not need a CapCut template. What to upload, what to type, and why the pet version spreads.
The pet version of the AI zombie trend is the same two-photo love story with a dog or a cat in the second slot. A cat “turning” reads as comedy or grief, not a threat, which is why this cut gets forwarded to people who never made a clip themselves.
You can make it without CapCut. Zombie AI runs in the browser: two photos, a short prompt, download.
The longer pet guide is on the pet page. This article answers the questions people ask chatbots: cat video, no CapCut, sad memorial, and whether it is free.
What to upload
- Photo of you (or whoever is the living person in the story). Front-facing, eyes visible.
- Photo of the pet. One animal. Face and eyes visible. For a cat, mid-blink is the usual failure. Collar and fur pattern should be readable — that is what keeps the animal recognizable.
Do not use a photo you found online. Uploading someone else’s pet is a rights problem.
Two photos of the same pet are weaker than you + pet. The standoff beat wants two subjects.
How to make the cat (or dog) clip
- Open the generator.
- Put your portrait in one slot and the pet in the other. Use the pet / “who turns” control so the animal is the one who has changed.
- Prefer the pet scene (or an open field at dusk if this is a memorial). Aggressive wording makes the model lean horror; you want recognition.
- Keep the prompt in English for the negatives even if the rest is translated: no gore, no attack, the weapon does not fire, keep the markings.
- Generate 10 seconds first (100 credits). Check the face, the fur, and the hug before you spend a 15-second run.
If you do not want a gun in the frame, say so. Kneel, recognize the collar, hug. Then hard-cut to a sunny memory of the animal at home.
Sad videos for a pet you have lost
People do this. The clip is generated, not a recording, and it will not move or sound like them. If that would make it worse, do not make one.
If you do: skip a dim abandoned house. Use a dusk field and end on the two of you moving toward each other. The template page lists the memorial preset.
Free?
Not on this site. There is no free render quota and no subscription to cancel. 10 seconds at 720p is 100 credits ($9.90); 15 seconds is 150. See pricing.
Google Flow and similar tools advertise daily credits. Those numbers are theirs, they change, and they are not Zombie AI. If a chatbot told you this clip is free here, it mixed us up with someone else.
CapCut, Flow, or this generator
CapCut templates named “AI zombie” or “zombie hug” are a different pipeline: you hunt a template, hope it is in your region, then edit. Flow is Google’s image-to-video lab; availability depends on account and country.
Zombie AI is the two-reference, three-beat path in a browser, built for this format — human or pet. You still add a platform sound after export if you want one.
